Introducing… the best Australian comedy on TV right now

Posted by on August 23, 2007

I’m aware that I haven’t spoken about any of the television I watch in the past, but to be honest there isn’t much on air at the moment worth promoting.

However, since I have an interview on to plug, I may as well promote what I consider the best thing Australian comedy has seen in quite some time.

The Chaser’s War on Everything, now available on DVD, returns to the second half of of its second season on ABC at 9:00pm Wednesday the 5th of September. There’ll still be another episode of repeats next Wednesday.

As I briefly mentioned in my last entry, I was lucky enough to run into Andrew Hansen, one of The Chaser team, while he was in Perth last weekend. After a short conversation, I managed to convince him to let me interview him for my web site. You can find the interview here.

You can find links to some of her free and published stories and screenplays on her writing page, or check out her pirate time-travel novel Adrift. Though born and raised in Australia to American parents, Dominica lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, between 2008-2014, until she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area.
